22 But Samuel replied,
“What is more pleasing to the Lord:
your burnt offerings and sacrifices
or your obedience to his voice?
Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice,
and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.
DEVOTIONAL:
On our final day, let's consider the importance of obedience over sacrifice. God desires our obedience more than our offerings. Reflect on areas where you might be trying to 'sacrifice' your way into God's good graces, rather than simply obeying His commands. Commit to listening to His voice and walking in the obedience that leads to true freedom.

What sacrifices are you tempted to offer God instead of the obedience He desires, and how can you shift your focus back to following His lead?
