Bible Reading: Haggai 2:18-19
18 “Think about this eighteenth day of December, the day when the foundation of the Lord’s Temple was laid. Think carefully.
19 I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn.You have not yet harvested your grain, and your grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day onward I will bless you.”
Devotional:
Today, let's focus on the importance of a faith mindset as we begin this new year. As you meditate on Haggai 2:18-19, consider the promise God made to His people even before they saw the fruits of their labor. Think about the seeds you are planting in your life right now. What promises are you holding onto? Reflect on how having a faith mindset can change the way you approach your daily walk with God.

What "seeds" are you planting in your spiritual life, and what promises of God are you trusting will come to fruition?
